Design according to the Universal Laws of Nature

We are surrounded by energy fields. Traditional science of architecture such as Chinese Feng Shui and Indian Vaastu Shastra guide the design and construction of buildings in harmony with the laws of nature and the universe to ensure those energies operate freely. They are the science of direction that combines all the five elements of nature and balance them with the man and the material.

Feng Shuiis the practice of focusing on our surroundings to bring peace and harmony into our lives. It is not a religion, and began when the ancient Chinese observed that the environment was a large part of their quality of life.Feng Shui gives us the means to synchronies the physical with the spiritual and to create a favorable environment that aligns with your activities.

Vaastu is a sanskrit word meaning “the science of structures.” Vaastu Shastra is creating a congenial settings or a place to live or work,  taking advantages of the benefits bestowed by the five elements called “Paanchbhootas” of nature, thereby paving the way for enhanced health, wealth, prosperity and happiness in an enlightened environment.

Although quite different in many ways, Feng Shui and Vastu Shastra share some common core timeless design approaches that sound familiar to us but are made better from their enlightened perspective.

In the Western world, we can employ placement techniques and applications in a way that fits our culture. The point is to proactively create spaces where we can be nurtured, grow and thrive.
